Library Services for Students, Faculty, and Staff!

Happy Fall 2024, River Otters! 

The library is excited to have students & faculty back on campus! We wanted to take some time to introduce the library and explain how we can support you during your time at Great Falls College! 

Physical Spaces

Weaver Library offers a number of study spaces, including group study rooms, adjustable height computer stations, study nooks, and traditional table seating.

Hours

All students and faculty are welcome to use the library during our open hours which are: 

Academic Year (Fall and Spring semesters)

• Monday & Tuesday: 8 AM - 6 PM
• Wednesday & Thursday: 8 AM - 7 PM
• Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM 
• Saturday: CLOSED
• Sunday: 12-4 PM

Fall Break, Spring Break, Summer

• Monday - Friday: 8 AM - 5 PM

Services for Students

Weaver Library's main mission is to support the academic goals of our students and to provide student-centered services to help you succeed during your time at Great Falls College. We offer the following services to all Great Falls College students: 

• Laptops, hotspots, and calculators available to check out on the 8-week block schedule. 
• Anatomical models available to check out.
• A wide variety of academic research databases to help with research projects & assignments. 
• A variety of Library Guides to help you find subject specific resources, or assist with topics like citation, annotated bibliographies, and library research. 
• Full access to all of our print & electronic collections. 
• Research assistance available both as drop-in assistance and scheduled on-on-one meetings.
• Assistance with citation styles and works cited and references pages. 
• Interlibrary loan services - if we don't have a book or article you need, we can request it from another library! 
• The Academic Success Center (tutoring) is located in the back of the library. Come in for tutoring support when you need it! 

Services for Staff/Faculty 

• Checking out books and other materials.
• Interlibrary loan services - if we don't have a book or article you need, we can request it from another library! 
• Access to all online collections via the library catalog and A-Z database list.
• assistance with citation and research resources - email the library! 
• scanning documents 
• and more! 

Libby App - Check out eBooks & Audiobooks for Free

As a student, staff, or faculty member you can access eBooks and audiobooks for free using the Libby App. When asked to sign in, you will add a library, search for Great Falls College MSU, and sign in with your NetID and password (same as D2L/Banner log in).
