How to Use This Guide

This guide contains citation guidelines for common resource types, including journal articles, books, and other web resources. This guide is not exhaustive, and many resource types are not included. For further guidance, please use the style guide links for each citation style on their respective information pages. 

 

Please note, this guide contains guidance directly from the APA, MLA, Chicago, and AMA style guides. Use the most recent version of the citation style (APA, MLA, Chicago, AMA) unless your instructor requests otherwise.  Always double check with your instructor if you are unsure about which citation style to use, or how to cite a specific source, to make sure you are meeting your instructor's expectations. General Information - The Academic Success Center in Weaver Library

The Academic Success Center offers tutoring in a range of subjects for Great Falls College students. You can also stop by the Academic Success Center located in the back of Weaver Library for drop in tutoring hours. 

Online Writing Submissions

You can also submit your written work online for review and feedback from tutors. Tutors can provide feedback on the following: understanding the assignment, brainstorming, outlining, conducting research, introduction/conclusion, main idea/thesis development, organization, content development, focus of paragraphs, transitions, or citations. You can submit your assignment using the Online Writing Submission Form.
