public opinion polls on a variety of topics in the United States. The Reuters/Ipsos poll has measured American public opinion at least once a week since 2012. The online poll is conducted in English, throughout the United States, gathering about 132,000 unique responses every year. All sample surveys and polls may be subject to other sources of error, including, but not limited to coverage error, and measurement error.

Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan fact tank that informs the public about the issues, attitudes and trends shaping the world. Pew Research Center conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, content analysis and other data-driven social science research.

KFF (Kaiser Family Foundation) is a nonprofit organization focusing on national health issues, as well as the U.S. role in global health policy. KFF develops and runs its own research, journalism and communications programs, sometimes in partnership with other nonprofit research organizations or major media companies. KFF serves as a nonpartisan source of facts, information, analysis, polling, and journalism for policymakers, the media, the health care community, and the public.

Exit polls are surveys of a random sample of voters taken as they leave their polling place on election day. Absentee and early voters are represented by either telephone polls or in-person exit polls at early voting locations. Pollsters use the results to assess the makeup and opinions of the electorate.

This report provides a summary of the statewide random sample of 204 Montana residents on a number of current topics/issues.
