Welcome to your Introductory Psychology Research Guide!

Welcome!  This guide is intended to guide you through the 3 steps in the research process to successfully locating articles and information for your psychology research assignment!

This thought is key:  RESEARCH IS A LEARNED AND CONSTANTLY EVOLVING PROCESS!  We don't expect you to walk through our doors and just know this stuff.  This is, after all, a college - we expect to *teach* you this stuff.  The more research practice you get, the more second-naturish it will become!  Remember if you try one strategy and it doesn't work, just rework, and try again!

Above all, please don't hesitate to ask a library staff member if you have any questions along the way - we are here to assist you.  You can contact us via the chat box on the far right column of these pages, or via phone:  (406)771-4398 or email to:  library@gfcmsu.edu .  We look forward to working with you!
